News from Barb: (no cell phone reception or internet at Sugar Pines). Positivity is keeping the group afloat in Yosemite Valley. The group is sitting in the meadow in front of "Half Dome" eating pizza sandwiches. Smells of Ponderosa Pine and Incense Cedar waft by. Drew Says, "We're having a great time." Dani says, "Snarf". Yosemite falls is cascading, the backdrop for many photos of the group. Today was a challenging hike through "Spider Cave", not named after it's arachnid inhabitants, but named for the physical dexterity required to travel through. Despite the apprehension of some, a few bruises, and guiding each other through 45 minutes in the dark, the group emerged! Quote of the day: "Go toward the light!" During prayer, the youth have shared some special prayers they have written in preparation for this journey. They will embark on their service project this afternoon, and tomorrow will encounter "Glacier Point" and "Sentinel Dome". God bless!
